World hearing day cerebration in kayunga District.

Uganda has today joined the Global community in commemorating the World Hearing Day.

The celebration was hosted at kayunga Regional referral hospital (KRRH) in kayunga District.

KRRH in conjunction with the Otolaryngology society of Uganda is holding a special ENT camp to mark the World hearing day.


The following services being offered at the camp include;
free hearing screening, expert talks on ear and hearing care, surgical intervention for all ENT conditions, rehabilitation services for the deaf.

The Assistant Commissioner Agro business management represented the Hon Minister of state for agriculture Hon Fred bwino kyakulaga at the award ceremony of the best Ugandan Vanilla growers 2024 which took place at Enimiro Headquarters in kangulumila Subcounty, kayunga District.

MAAIF in collaboration with Enimiro Products limited Uganda initiated the best vanilla growers award.

This historical event was the first in Uganda and piloted in 12 vanilla growing districts Kayunga inclusive.

KAYUNGA DISTRICT PDM IMPLEMENTING TEAM RECEIVE 157 TABLETS

The RDC Kayunga District has officially launched the distribution of 157 tablets to PDM implementing team at the District headquarters.

The Ministry of ICT and National Guidance recently handed over 60247 tablets to the Ministry of Local Government to enhance the performance, monitoring and supervision of PDM programs.

The RDC applauded the PDM implemention team for working hard in implementing the NRM manifesto.

She emphasized safety of the tablets and called for Transperancy and right selection of beneficiaries.
