AIDE Training at the District Headquarters.

Arise Integrated Development Effort (AIDE) held a training of women in land governance at the District Headquarters.

AIDE is a civil society organisation with a vision of having a society in which women are fully empowered.

The training aimed at empowering women with leadership skills and navigation of political system and advocacy.

A number of challenges were identified including: ignorance of the law, illiteracy, eviction and fraud.

The Chairperson LC III Mr kampi Joshua applauded AIDE for the project and sensitised women on land governance and different types of ownership of land including Mailo, free hold , tenure and customery.
