NGO SHED with stakeholders for an entry - level meeting at kayunga District Headquarters
SHED an independent NGO conducted an entry meeting for "Women for Peace" project with stakeholders at the District headquarters.
SHED has been active in Uganda since 2020.
It has implemented 26 Projects with 28,198 beneficiaries of whom 72% are women and girls.
SHED works to promote
Peaceful societies through Human rights, justice and development initiatives..
Women play a big role in building peace but are often marginalized and their voices not heard yet they encounter the greatest trouble in the face of conflicts and crisis.
This project will therefore empower women to participate in decision making processes, prevent conflict and promote peace and stability in the country.

5. Protection of women and girls.
6. Peace building and recovery.

1. Strengthening livelihood and market system.

4. Promoting inclusive and equitable quality education.
5. Strengthening social accountability and community participation.
The RDC registered his commitment on behalf of the District and pledged maxmum support where need arises.
