A team from the office of the President held a dialogue with Heads of department at the District headquarters.

The team was conducting a monitoring exercise on implemention of the National Policy that is domiciled in the Ministry
Of Finance Planning and Economic Development.

A number of policies have been developed and being implemented as a means of addressing public issues and improving lives of citizens.

The policies broadly covers Health, Education, Water and Environment .

The Purpose was to find out if what is happening in the district is similar to the policies and wanted to know what's happening at grassroot levels.

The team highlighted that monitoring is conducted regularly to track performance of public policies and further guide on improvements and implementation.
