GRIEVENCE COMMITTEE GUIDELINES
1. Advertise on all Notice boards with points of receipt of the existence of the grievances committee.There can be various forms of advertisement to be used to achieve this.
these include;
- Mails.
- Whatsapps.
- Telephone calls and numbers.
2.Develop a grievance log.
This contains the following information;
- Date of receipt of the grievance/complaint
- Complaint
- Complainant
- Responsible officers to handlethe complaint/case
- action be taken.
- Date of feed back to the complanant
3. Follow-up the above actions with a formal meeting
4. Develope methods of notifying possible clients
TYPES OF GRIEVENCES
There are 2 types of grievances..
These include ;
- Internal grievences (grievences between members of staff from with in the organisation).
- External grievences (grievences outside the organisation forexample community).
6. Sitting schdule for the committees may be due to the following reosons.
- Review responsible officers actions on complaints
- Esterblish methods of handling grievences.
